How to make our Memory Bear Lion

Here is our step by step guide on how we handmade a Memory Bear Lion for little Olivia.

Step 1 - We received the bundle of beautiful clothing items from Olivia's mummy, now we have the exciting task of deciding which piece of clothing will appear in which place on the Memory Lion.  We knew just instantly that that little pink mouse is going to sit just perfectly on the Lions back!

Step 2 - All the pieces are cut out and lined.

Now the fun bit - the sewing commences!

Step 3 - First piece of sewing here we are attaching the nose to the forehead.

 

Step 4 - The head is complete, oh wow, this is going to be such a pretty lion :)

 

Step 5 - Here we are pinning and sewing the leg and body pieces together.

 Step 6 -  Now its time to personalise this Lions paws with Olivia's name before attaching to the feet.

 Step 7 - Pin the head in place on the body, almost there......

 

Step 8 - Turn the Lion inside out ready to add the stuffing.

Below here she is - our finished lion, isn't she just beautiful. 
Olivia's clothing captured into an item of beauty to cherish forever or to be handed down the generations as a family heirloom.
